It's a brand new year! Hope everyone's has gone well!

I'm sure this one will go as fast as the past also.

Our last meeting was our Annual Christmas Pot Luck. The food and the friendship were remarkable as usual!

We held our election of officers and the results are:

Rich Brutsche - President (He likes to call it "Meeting Leader")

Vice President - John Schick

Secretary "Team" - Donna Valentine/Sue Geiger

Treasurer - Nancy Muncey

Newsletter Ed. - Sue Geiger

The officers had an organization meeting in January. They are going to present their ideas at this meeting. Some new and unique ideas were suggested for getting new members, and programs. They want you to bring any ideas of your own to this meeting also.

One suggestion was to have hats made with our Name and logo on it. Wait…we have no logo…so the contest begins!…Please start thinking about a logo for the club. If your logo is picked you will be the winner of the first hat to come off the line! Let's hurry! This will also let people know we exist!

The club dues are still $12 for the whole family. What a deal! Please see that Nancy gets these a.s.a.p. Her address is Nancy Muncy

I've been asked to put in a "Trivia" question in the newsletters. It's my understanding that the first person picked that has the right answer, will win a prize?? So here goes.

What is the name of the actor who was in 96 films, a hobbyist beekeeper, gave away honey in jars with the label “Henry’s Honey "on it?  As a youngster, he earned the Eagle Scout badge for beekeeping.

When you sign in at the meetings there will be slips of paper you can write the answer on along with your name.  GOOD LUCK!

Be sure to come to this meeting and find out what we have in store for the rest of the year!

See you Monday nite!!
