MONDAY
7:00 p.m.
Greetings!
Our "Harvest Moon" is just around
the corner! Sure hope the rain clouds clear up so we can enjoy it….needless to
say, I'm sure some have wanted to get out into their hives and harvest some
honey! I'm sure we will be getting a day or two of sunny weather before the
snow files. This whole growing season has been a little behind because of the
weather.
While your inside
waiting, start making a list of things to do before the snow flies and you have
to tuck the girls in for the winter. I've gone over the list each year and we
have even had programs on fall harvesting and winterizing your bees. This
meeting will give you a chance to bring in any questions or concerns you may
have about beekeeping. The program is an "Open Forum". Having a bad
year? Come on in and we'll cheer you up! Having a bumper year?? Yea!! Let's
hear about it! If you have any Program ideas…bring them with you also! The
program committee is always up for new ideas. It's time to look forward to next
year!

We were informed at the last meeting we
will be meeting at a new location soon. There are a few ideas circulating, so
keep reading your newsletters and emails for any updates. If for any reason
there would be a last minute change in locations, I would send out cards of the
new place with directions.
Well, that's all I got for this reminder.
I'll try and squeeze in a recipe…
